I’m an author, a mum, a dog mom, slightly neuro-spicy, born and raised in Alaska. I’ve always been a bit of a seasoned soul (ahem, old), having grown up devouring 1980s historical romance novels. Picture me, tucked under the covers with a flashlight, completely lost in those sweeping, happily-ever-after tales, convinced they held the blueprint for true love. Oh, the blissful naïveté of youth.
As my tastes evolved, so did my reading, and eventually, my writing. I found myself drawn to stories with a little more edge, a little more heat, and a deeper emotional pull. When I began writing my own novels, I set out to blend the nostalgic charm of classic historical romance with the bold intensity of modern storytelling.
The result became my At Night series, a dark(ish) Regency romance filled with tension, secrets, and slow-burning desire that only grows sharper with each book. But my stories do not live in candlelight alone.
My Alpenglow series brings me home to Alaska, to a fictional coastal town where bush planes hum overhead, the coffee is always hot, and love has a way of finding even the most stubborn hearts. These stories lean into found family, second chances, and the quiet magic of a place that refuses to let you go.
When asked to categorize what I write, think emotional depth, open doors, and just enough spice to keep things interesting. Whether you prefer ballrooms or boardwalks, dukes or bush pilots, there is always a thread that ties it all together: love that is hard-won and worth every risk.
And I am not done yet. New stories, both historical and contemporary, have a habit of arriving in my brain, often at the most inconvenient times, and I have learned to listen when they do.
So whether you’ve come for the shadows or the northern lights, hold onto your garters or your snowshoes. You are very welcome here.
